Australian Capital Territory

Canberra is Australia's capital and the national centre of government and was founded in 1913.With a population of about 300,000 people, Canberra has excellent facilities and services for its size. Canberra is modern and pollution free, with none of the peak-hour traffic problems common to other cities. It is a two-hour drive to beaches and snowfields and a three-hour drive to Sydney.


South Australia

South Australia has a healthy Mediterranean climate with cool wet winters and hot dry summers. The average summer temperature is 29 degrees Celsius, although each year brings one or two hot periods (generally with low humidity). Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia, has a reputation as Australia’s arts capital, boasting a multitude of festivals, a vibrant live music scene, galleries, design and fashion, theatre, architecture


Western Australia

Western Australia is Australia's largest state in area, covering the western third of the mainland, and is bordered by South Australia and the Northern Territory. It is, after the Sakha Republic in Russia, the second largest subnational entity (statoid) in the world. Despite this the population is only 2,105,800 making up 10% of Australia's total population. Perth is the capital of Western Australia.


Tasmania

Tasmania is Australia's only island state.  It is a heart-shaped island of lush green valleys, uncrowded towns and villages and still undeveloped coastlines. It is one of the world's most mountainous islands and while our peaks do not tower to great heights, they are unique in their serrated profile. Hobart is the second oldest capital city in Australia. Dating from 1804, it is exceeded in antiquity only by Sydney.
